The Tamiya McLaren kit was no surprise. I have put together many Tamiya kits in the past and they are the best of the best of models. There parts are crisp and clean and no warped pieces. If you ever find a broken part, they have a number you can call and they will replace that part. It's going together nicely but you must follow the instruction by the numbers. These kits are not for beginners. These are not toys and are to be displayed only. Excellent kit !!

I LOVED PUTTING IT TOGETHER, AND IT WENT TOGETHER WELL. I PUT REAL MCLAREN RIMS AND TIRES ON IT AND MADE IT A HIGH WING. LOOKS GREAT!! MY FRIENDS THOUGHT IT WAS A DIECAST MODEL.

nice larger scale McLaren, not to many tiny parts to scare/bother the newer builders, but the engraving is so nice the older modelers will easily be able to bring out the details and in this size it is easier to add those details. This is my third so you can be sure I really like this kit!

1/18 scale plastic model assembly kit. Total length 220 mm. The rear end of the rear cowl is raised to realistically reproduce the sharp open 2-seater form equipped with the NASA duct. The front and rear cowls can be removed, and you can enjoy the scene development of the pit stop. The large displacement V8 engine, which features a long air funnel, also has a realistic finish. The slide mark is made by Cartograph. We have prepared the number 4 of B. McLaren and the number 5 of D. Harum. With driver doll.
