Release Date: February 2026 - March 2026

This is a Kato HO gauge finished product, the Taki 1000 in the Japan Oil Terminal color. Kato 1-822 Taki 1000 in the Japan Oil Terminal color. February 2026 - March 2026 [Product Introduction] This is a Kato HO gauge finished product, the Taki 1000 in the Japan Oil Terminal color. The vivid blue body of the car is reproduced in the Japan Oil Terminal color. The body shape of the different diameter car body is accurately reproduced using plastic molding technology. The handrails, underframe, piping, and other details of the car body are precisely reproduced. The three-dimensional FT21 bogies and the roller bearings with rotating axle ends recreate realistic driving scenes. The car number, affiliation, and inspection markings can be selected using the lettering sheet. Other oil transport company markings and body markings are realistically reproduced through printing. A reflective part is included for attaching when the train arrives at the end of the train. It can be attached and removed just like the real thing. Since parts from existing Taki 1000 products are reused, some details may differ. [Set Contents] [Taki 1000 in Japan Oil Terminal Color] [Actual Vehicle Introduction] The Taki 1000 was introduced in 1993 as a high-performance tank car capable of operating at a maximum speed of 95 km/h to increase the speed of freight trains. Since then, improvements have been made and the number of cars added has continued over the past 28 years, reaching 1,008 in 2021. Starting in 2024, cars with the COSMO logo on the side of the car will be introduced, and can be seen mainly on trains heading from Hamagoi Station, where the Cosmo Oil Chiba Refinery is located, to Koriyama, Utsunomiya, Kuragano, Hachioji, and Minamimatsumoto.
