The Toyota SORA debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2017 and began leasing in March 2018.It is the first fuel cell bus in Japan to receive type approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (ZBC-MUM1NAE).
The vehicle introduced to Tokushima Bus is the first in Shikoku.
