ハーレーも刀もCB750もミッドナイトスペシャルもホンダのターボもつくりましたが完成時の見映えはこのモデルが一番だと思います。ビッグスケールならではの存在感で他を圧倒します。ハーレーも存在感はありますが、カウルの押し出しが強く、２輪らしいメカニカルな印象でこのモデルが上回ります。シルエットはごくごくオーソドックスな２輪車なのですが、それが実に美しい。ボディは実車の再現に拘らず、メタリックやキャンディー気味の色にして思い切っり鏡面仕上げにしてみることをお勧めします。このスケールならウレタンで厚めに吹いてもスケール感を損なうこともありませんし。エンジンも大きいですから、塗装で金属らしい表現をつくっていくのが実に楽しい。このシリーズをプラモつくろうで取り上げてくれないかなあ？
