The error in the manual has finally been resolved, but ...
The German Navy during World War II focused on commerce raiding, so there were few flashy naval battles, and in that sense, the Z37-39 may be a little more interesting as a collection. In addition, this kit was originally a product of another company, so Tamiya took it over for a reason and refurbished it and released it, so the taste is slightly different from the recently released E class destroyer. However, with this Barbara repair set, the typographical error in the manual was finally corrected, so I think that it can be assembled accurately. For those who like flashiness, you may want other destroyers (Hermann Schumann, Paul Jacobi) who participated in Operation Channel Dash.
★★★★★ It's cheap, and it's fun to make it with a simple assembly. I am keenly aware of the difference from Japanese destroyers.

I started making plastic models for the first time in about 40 years when I met my grandfather who was on board Yamato, and I have already made nearly 30 combined fleet ships. Recently, I am making ships from other countries little by little. I had never seen this German destroyer set at a model store, but I happened to buy it because it was cheap at a second-hand store. It's less than 1,000 yen for two ships, so it's a bargain. I don't have much materials, and I'm not particular about myself, so I assembled it almost even with bare hands. The blueprint has a commentary on this destroyer for you to study. The assembly drawing is very easy to see, but you need to be careful not to confuse the early model with the refurbished model. It's interesting that there are rubber boats around the bridge and the structures on the deck are quite different from the Combined Fleet. I wanted to replace the anchor because it was quietly raised on the deck, but I gave up because I was not confident to scrape the thin anchor chain and replace it. The only hose reel was like Kamaboko, so I replaced it with a road part. The rest is all unassembled, including the mast. I also stopped the camouflage color with a brush. Anyway, making a ship is fun, so I'm posting my work on Amazon just to let as many people as possible know the fun. It's childish, but please refer to it if you like. I'm sure you can make it better.
