The rear camera features a high 60fps frame rate for unprecedented clarity and smoothness, and STARVIS technology, which uses the IMX462 image sensor for significantly improved night vision capabilities.
■ The rear camera is a first from a manufacturer, featuring a high 60fps frame rate, providing smoother images than previous models on the LCD screen. - It displays clearer images than ever before when using the zoom function or capturing fast-moving objects (such as when driving on the highway). The front and rear cameras use Sony's back-illuminated CMOS image sensor "STARVIS." It maintains brightness and produces clear, low-noise images, even at night. The "IMX462" offers significantly improved night vision compared to the "IMX307" used in previous models. The rear camera features a 20-step digital zoom function. The wide-angle rear camera's focus can make it difficult to gauge the distance to following vehicles, but this problem can be resolved by using the zoom function. Switch between wide-angle and zoom modes with the touch of a button. The front camera is separate, allowing for flexible placement, avoiding the center of the vehicle or other devices, allowing for optimal placement regardless of the vehicle's surroundings. Using electrical devices such as walkie-talkies, cell phones, in-car TVs (digital terrestrial broadcasting), navigation systems, and radios near the unit may affect transmission and reception sensitivity. In some vehicle models, a voltage drop during engine start may prevent the unit from turning on properly. The unit will start when the engine is in ACC mode, allowing the voltage to stabilize, and then turning the engine on. It can also start manually by pressing and holding the power button.
