This ship is not known as Yamato but it is the most powerfull ship of the japans. The kit is very detailed and some parts are 3mm width, so you need to be patient and know the basics of model kits. I think it would be a wonderful gift for a 15+ year old boy. This model can be used either motorized or static. But the engine is not coming inside, you should buy seperately.
