The "LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT" lens with an aperture of F2.8-4.0 that delivers high image quality throughout the entire zoom range and makes the most of beautiful bokeh.This lens meets Leica's strict optical standards and achieves the brightness of the F2.8-4.0 "ELMARIT," allowing you to enjoy beautiful bokeh. The lens features two aspherical and two UED lenses, optimally positioned to deliver superior imaging performance across the entire zoom range. Nano Surface Coating also reduces ghosting and flare. This telephoto zoom lens covers a telephoto range from 100mm to 400mm and is compatible with teleconverters*, making it ideal for everything from snapshots to distant wildlife and sports photography. With the optional 1.4x teleconverter, you can achieve 560mm, and with the optional 2.0x teleconverter, you can enjoy ultra-telephoto shooting up to 800mm. The large F2.8 aperture and high resolution also make it ideal for portraits and videography. Lightweight and compact, it's dustproof, weatherproof, and freezeproof (down to -10°C). It also supports Dual I.S. 2, which optimally controls both body and lens image stabilization, allowing for flashless shooting in low light and handheld telephoto shooting. Supports 4K video shooting with the latest optical design and high-speed, high-precision AF. The latest optical design minimizes minute changes in the angle of view during AF search during 4K video shooting, as well as peripheral image distortion during image stabilization. Furthermore, support for high-speed, high-precision contrast AF with 240 fps operation ensures accurate subject capture in a wide range of shooting scenes. Improved AF tracking performance ensures accurate tracking of even fast-moving subjects.
