The 0 series was the first commercial Shinkansen train to appear in 1964.
Imperial trains using the 0 series Shinkansen had a white V-shaped marking on the skirt to identify them, but later changed to a style with a blue stripe around the headlights.

The 25-512 series is an early model with large windows, while the rest are reproduced as the 1000 series with small windows.
