G-SHOCK, the tough watch that has continued to evolve in pursuit of ever-increasing strength since its release in 1983, is introducing a new model with a design motif of the Shiba Inu, a dog that is popular among animal lovers not only in Japan but also overseas and is designated as a natural monument.

The motif was chosen because it links the G-SHOCK identity of "Never Give Up" with the image of the Shiba Inu, which is said to have spirit and dignity.

The base models are G-SHOCK's iconic styles: the standard digital DW-5600, the three-eyed DW-6900, and the big-case GA-100.

This time, the design was inspired by the dog's coat color - black Shiba Inu (DW-5600SHB), white Shiba Inu (DW-6900SHB), and red Shiba Inu (GA-100SHB) - and incorporated these colors into the design of each model to express the charm of the Shiba Inu.

The silhouette and face of a Shiba Inu are featured on the dial, backlight, band ring, and case back.

In addition, the two-tone molded band has a white backing to represent the belly of a Shiba Inu.

In addition, all three models are made in Japan, in honor of the Shiba Inu, an ancient Japanese dog breed.
