The G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary Adventurer's Stone series is a limited edition model of G-SHOCK, which has been pursuing toughness since its birth in 1983 and will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2023. Based on the concept of ores that serve as guideposts for adventurers, newly developed technology has been adopted for the G-SHOCK Metal Covered Series. The metal bezel of each model is forged and IP painted, and furthermore, masking technology is used to express the shine of ores. In addition, the band has a unique texture achieved by using skeleton material, hot stamping, and Galar molding. The dial features SINCE1983 to commemorate the 40th anniversary, the 40th logo by Eric Haze, who also designed the G-SHOCK 25th, 30th, and 35th logos, and the band ring is engraved with a star mark representing 40 and SINCE1983, making it a specification worthy of a limited edition model.
