The feed cover and bipod can be opened or closed. Comes with a resin box magazine that holds 200 rounds of 5.56mm belt-link bullets. This firearm, adopted by the Self-Defense Forces under the name "5.56mm machine gun Minimi," is a model produced under license in Japan of the Belgian-made FN-MINIMI. It is a firearm that can fire the same ammunition as the main rifle Type 89 rifle, and is widely used in addition to the portable machine gun of regular troops, vehicle-mounted vehicles such as light armored mobile vehicles, and the door gun of the UH-1.
