TAMIYA 1/35 American tank M26 Pershing. At the end of World War II, the M26 Pershing appeared as the first American tank that could fight on an equal footing with powerful German heavy tanks such as the Tiger I. Equipped with a long-barreled 90mm gun and excellent maneuverability, the Pershing was sent to the European front in February 1945 and was dispatched to advance into Germany. Approximately 200 vehicles were deployed before Germany surrendered in May 1945, and they exchanged fire with Tiger I, Panzer IV, and Panther. It was also used in the Korean War that broke out in June 1950, showing its strength overwhelming the North Korean army's T34/85 tanks. Each passenger hatch can be opened or closed.
