A compact, portable 35mm full-frame wide-angle prime lens. This wide-angle prime lens is compatible with 35mm full-frame cameras. It features three aspherical lenses, including one advanced aspherical (AA) lens, and two ED glass elements, delivering beautiful bokeh and sharp images all the way to the edges, despite its compact design. With a maximum aperture of f/2.0, it's bright enough for handheld shooting indoors. It features a linear motor for quiet, high-speed AF. The exterior is constructed of high-quality aluminum alloy, ensuring dust- and weather-resistant construction. In addition, by combining it with an optional converter lens, you can easily enjoy shooting with an even wider angle of view.
This wide-angle prime lens, compatible with 35mm full-frame cameras, boasts a compact and lightweight design that matches the compact α7 series. It weighs approximately 200g, making it easy to carry and convenient for everyday snapshots. The lens barrel features an aluminum alloy exterior for a high-quality finish.
The FE 28mm F2 is compatible with two types of converter lenses (sold separately), allowing you to easily enjoy ultra-wide-angle and fisheye photography with different angles of view. When the fisheye converter is attached, the diagonal angle of view is as wide as 180°, and you can enjoy the unique deformation effect of a fisheye lens, where the image becomes compressed as you move closer to the periphery. When the ultra-wide converter is attached, ultra-wide-angle imaging with a focal length of 21mm is possible. Both lenses offer the same high optical performance as standalone interchangeable lenses and a high-quality design that blends seamlessly with the FE 28mm F2. Furthermore, when the converter is attached, the Exif information is automatically reflected, making data management easy.
