The old paint scheme of the 400 series with its shining silver wings!
It is painted in the original metallic grey with green stripes as it was when it was introduced and reproduces the appearance after it was extended to seven cars.
Licensed for commercialization by JR East
The 400 series was introduced in 1992 to coincide with the opening of the Yamagata Shinkansen. When it was introduced, it was a 6-car train, but in 1995, the 429 series was added to increase transportation capacity, making it a 7-car train. It reproduces the appearance after it was expanded to 7 cars, with the metallic gray with green stripes paint at the time of its introduction. The 400 logo mark on the side of the car body is printed. A hook and U-shaped conductive coupler is used on the coupling side of each car. The head and tail lights are equipped with a constant lighting board, and the 411 series has an ON-OFF switch. The head lights are lit by incandescent LEDs and the tail lights are lit by red LEDs. Equipped with a movable hood. The car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included. Insulators are already installed. The 411 series is equipped with a TN coupler on the driver's side.
