The 521 series 100 series is a commuter train that began operating in 2019 and is operated on the Nanao Line in the Hokuriku region. The red color of the line is an madder color reminiscent of Wajima lacquer. It is operated in a 4-car formation with two connected formations, starting from the shortest 2-car formation. Currently, 15 2-car formations and 3 formations for the IR Ishikawa Railway are in operation. The front display parts are pre-printed and replacement parts are included. The car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included (included in the basic set). The JR mark is printed. The headlights are lit with white LEDs. The taillights are lit with red LEDs. Head and taillight ON-OFF switch included. Only the driver's side of the leading car is equipped with a TN coupler (SP). Adopts a new current collection system and silver wheels. *The model train is a system that is powered by the rails.
