This solar-powered model from the EDIFICE Sospensione series, which uses a suspension arm design, features a dial made of carbon fiber reinforced resin. The solar cell is carefully designed so that it can be fully solar-charged just by receiving light through the small opening of the in-dial. When fully charged, it stores enough energy to run for about 5 months under normal use. In addition, this in-dial solar system allows the use of opaque carbon fiber for the dial, resulting in a design full of motorsports that is typical of EDIFICE. The lug design is inspired by the double wishbone suspension of a formula car. The case is made of lightweight and strong carbon fiber reinforced resin, so it feels light when worn. The case size is also smaller than the conventional Sospensione series. The sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating on the inside improves the visibility of the dial. This is a slightly compact racing solar chronograph.
