★★★★☆  Erasable highlighters are the best!!

I color code many things at work, included the rotating statuses of thousands of files. Did I mention I do this all by handwritten methods? I have, both, the pastel and the neon color packs, and I use them every single day. As I also tend to doodle, I use them to color or line things sometimes, which I know is not the main purpose of any highlighter. However, I've come to see that they last fairly long, even with my using them to color with, as well!This is my favorite brand, and I've been sticking to it for years now. :)

i ordered these a while back, and it's very odd to me that a lot of others have had theirs run dry. I use mine on all my planners, in my bible study, and for doodling. And I've had them for months!! They're lovely for scriptures because they highlight very pale. like others suggest, I wouldn't use them on textbooks. otherwise, these are adorable highlighters in lovely soft shades. their little plastic box is pretty durable and so I keep mine in it. I'll buy again when the ink runs out !! lovely seller as well. I had no problems with them!there's an example of one of the highlighters on my scriptures.

When I received these, it seemed like only two of the highlighters worked - the others either had no color, or very, very light color. If this happens to you, put the markers in the freezer for a day or so, then thaw them, and they should work! Here's why: the ink in Frixion products is thermochromic; this means that its color hue and/or intensity changes depending on temperature. When exposed to heat (like the heat of a delivery truck during the summer, or the heat created by the friction of the rubber "eraser" on paper) the ink becomes colorless. This transition is reversible - that is, exposure to cold will cause the color to return. Hooray for chemistry!I'm giving this four stars because the thermochromic transition temperature has implications for the use of Frixion products - if you use this highlighter on a textbook you leave on your car's front seat on a sunny day, it's possible (and even probable) that your highlighting will disappear. Granted, you could get it back by popping your textbook in the freezer for a day, but that seems unnecessarily convoluted. Caveat emptor!

★★★★☆  Eraser leaves a mess

The eraser works to remove the highlighter but smudges the printed text underneath. If you plan on erasing what you've highlighted, I would recommend underlining rather than doing straight through the words and erasing very carefully to avoid smudging. I've attached two photos, one from a textbook and the other from regular computer paper, the eraser smudges the words on both.

I love these highlighters! I love the subtle colors. Great for planning. I didn't even know these highlighters were erasable. I think the purple color is a little bit too subtle but nonetheless great product.

★★★★☆  Would purchase again! Be weary of printed documents!

-I received two, just as ordered. The shipping was surprisingly fast.-The markers where still in good working condition and in OG packaging.-I love the soft pastel colors + eraser style-Wait for regular non frixion inks to dry completely before highlighting! If you highlight wet inks that are non frixion ink, they will combine and you won’t be able to cleanly erase the smudging. I use these highlighters with frixion pens so that precise thing never happens.-These struggled to highlight printed documents, even after waiting for print ink to dry + printing draft quality + gray scale color documents. As I mentioned above these marks will not cleanly erase. This issue could be my printer itself, bc ALL other types of highlighters and markers do this.-I love these and would purchase again.
