These pens made me feel like an instant calligraphy pro. They are great to hold and have nice color, I use them often and have yet to have a tip wear out, or any ink for that matter! These are great for brush calligraphy and I would highly recommend them.

I love these pens!! They make it so easy to brush letter as a beginner. You just have to write and practice your pressure. Makes you feel like such a pro! And I'm not at all.

They didn't last as long as I wanted. I use them almost every day for interactive journals as a teacher......Tricky to get an even line. Write too fast and it feels like it's running out.Would be awesome to use on coloring books with the variable line.Will return to the original felt-tip Pentel Sign pen for my purposes.

I would really reccomend these brush pens! I, a beginner calligraphist, purchased these brush pens only two days ago. Already they are very easy to use and control, and I’m glad I invested in these pens. The colors are vibrant and it is easy to get thin and thick lines. I would say, though, that it may be easier to spot faults or shakes in your upstrokes because the nib of the pen is so small, making mistakes more noticeable. However, I would still really recommend these pens, for beginners and pros. Please see picture above for the colors!

These make you feel like an instant calligraphy pro! They are great for brushlettering on envelopes and for making medium sized letters. Initially I thought they bleed a bit but it depends on your pressure and the type of paper you use.

I originally purchased the same style Pentel brush pen from Michael’s store in charcoal grey and love it so I decided to give these a try. Must I say these might be the best brush pens for hand lettering! They are so easy to maneuver and the colors are so vibrant. My favorites from the set would have to be Dark Blue, Pink, Red, Purple and Black. I really hope Pentel will release more color varieties for these pens because they really are amazing!

Love these pens! I have an art business and I do brush lettering as a part of my business. I kept trying to find the perfect pen for the job and I finally found these! Definitely worth the price. The ink lasts for a really long time as well. I purchased these in December and I practice lettering very frequently and I still have not had any of the pens run out of ink (2 months later). These are great for beginners as well as pros. I highly recommend. (these are just some example cards I did for my website. All names and addresses are fake since they are examples. I also did a list that shows all of the colors that come in this box of pens). Hope this helps!

I have just started "Brush Lettering" & these were recommended on a tutorial. I am glad I bought them; they are great and come at a good price. I've used them for just a day and already love the results they are giving me.The color selection could be better though (see image), but I am sure that doesn't matter if you're a beginner like me. It did take some time during shipping; but it was worth the wait.
