　何とはなしに、ああ昔の儘のデザインだなぁ、と思われがちなオリエント。　が、スタンダード STYLISH AND SMARTの辺りは斬新な発想が弾け咲いた。レトロフューチャーシリーズでは、その連綿と続く古の感性と現代的デザインセンスの融合が輝った。　で、今回のコレ。エルゴノミカルなケースに、クロノグラフ・タキメーター・副竜頭付き内転ベゼル・一回限鳴動アラーム等をぶち込んで、更にガードバーが鮮やかなアクセントを添えている。ああ、旧来のモデルラインからどうやればこの飛躍的デザインが生まれるのだろう。　勝手なイメージとしては、レ－ルウェイモデル、なのだろうか。くろがねに銀のフレーム、そこにスチーム・ロコモティブを髣髴させる導風板に黒銀のフェイス、輝るホワイト字刻。　正面観掲載写真より、実物の方が壱、いや弐枚は上手。風防貼り付け型のトライアングル型カレンダー拡大鏡も相俟って、もう、好きですよこれ、たまらんのぉ。クオーツだけど、ああ、手が勝手に「ポチ」っとぉ～。　ただ、実物の方が何・故・か・レトロ感マシマシ．．．　願わくば、クロノグラフのままで、アラーム機能削除、そこのサブダイアルをGMT表示。でもってこのデザインのまま自動巻きも．．．あー、２０万超えそうだなぁ．．．
